A board-certified physician practicing internal medicine in Darien, Connecticut, with admitting and staff privileges at Stamford Hospital and Norwalk Hospital, Charles Miner III, M.D. has been affiliated for 25 years with the physician group Internal Medicine of Darien, P.C. The full-service practice provides laboratory, x-ray, cardiac treadmill stress testing and dietary and physiatry services, and directly manages outpatient care and hospital admissions. Dr. Miner is licensed in Connecticut, New York and Florida and is a part-time instructor in clinical medicine at Columbia University. He resides in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife and four children.
Dr. Miner received his medical degree in 1979 from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and, in 1982, completed his residency training in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City.
Dr. Miner has particular expertise in personal services that
emphasize prevention and screening, with a special interest in
patient care during travel. He has developed a unique system
that provides patients instant, secure access to their medical
records via the web along with 24/7 access via cell phone, email
or "BlackBerry" should a problem arise anywhere in the world.
Dr. Miner serves on the board of directors of The Stamford
Hospital and of Misonix, Inc., a medical device company based in
Farmingdale, LI. He is the founder and CEO of CastleConnolly
LifeStream MD, LLC, a health advisory services company based in
Darien, CT.
